In this inaugural online Lager Lecture, Dr. Stuart Phillips will explore the ‘traditional’ as well as some less tangible, but perhaps equally as important, benefits of being physically active. We have also begun to understand what relatively ‘brief’ periods of inactivity do to aging persons and the importance of actively recovering from these periods as we age.
